Naked Tipis: create flow and a unique space

A Naked Tipi is a visually beautiful way to create a new space at your wedding. A Naked Tipi usually consists of a tipi frame, fairy lights and matting. In the daytime, it could be used for your ceremony, the drinks reception, alfresco dining or a chill out area. At night, it will be a stunning feature to enjoy, lit up with fairy lights from the top to the bottom. If you are thinking of ways to create more movement and flow, a Naked Tipi could be perfect as guests are lead from one space to another as your day progresses.Naked Tipis are an incredibly versatile option for creating a large ceremony space. Made using a Giant Tipi frame (10.3 metres in diameter), it will be large enough for the celebrant, couple, wedding party and family to be under the frame, and additional seating could be added beyond the frame in a circle or semi-circle to accommodate as many people as needed. They feel like natural, grand architectural structures; the exposed wood gives a sense of organic-ness and a connection with nature. The hand-whittled timber provides texture and presence; decoration isn’t required to give a Tipi or Naked Tipi atmosphere or a sense of character. In fact, a top tip from one of our brides is to not worry about not having enough decorations – the space will come alive once filled with your friends and family. A lot of clients choose to decorate with flowers, drapes and by suspending floral rings or lanterns from the apex.THE SMALLER OPTIONIf you feel like something a bit smaller would suit your day better, we’d recommend our Canapé and Welcome Drinks Structure Package.NAKED TIPI PHOTO INSPIRATIONOur favourite naked tipi photos and outdoor seating ideas for a Naked Tipi…We love Morrocan rugs and soft furnishings, our full 16 piece white rattan furniture set, hay bales, picnic blankets and crate tables under a Naked Tipi…
