Our mission at Cotswold Tipis is to create amazing spaces for weddings, parties, events and organisations using the power of Giant Tipis.
We pride ourselves on delivering super high standards of customer service and being a great company to work for. When you work with us you will be part of a team where we all work hard for each other and have fun whilst doing so.
Our work is mainly in the Cotswolds Area and sometimes further afield. Our base is in between Tetbury, Malmesbury and Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

TIPI RIGGING CREW

- We are looking for people to be part of our tipi rigging crew who love getting outside and being active. The work is physically tough and the hours are sometimes long but the rewards of working outdoors, creating amazing experiences and working with a fun and caring team make this a fabulous job opportunity.
ROLE
In your role as Tipi Rigging Crew Member, you will be working mainly outdoors, in anything from someone’s back garden to a large music venue for a world renowned arts festival. You will be erecting and dismantling tipis and other outdoor structures plus arranging all associated furnishings. You will also be involved in loading and unloading vehicles, travelling to sites, cleaning out tipis and doing various maintenance tasks back at our warehouse.
HOW OUR TEAM WORKS
At Cotswold Tipis we believe in working together collectively to get the job done. Everyone on the team has different experience and skill levels and there is always opportunity to improve and learn. On each individual job there will be a more experienced team member who will be overseeing the job. Other crew members will have responsibilities for specific parts of the build. As you learn and are able to take on responsibilities and up your skill level, then your hourly rate will reflect your ability and knowledge.
Being a supportive and hard working team and having fun whilst on a job is the most important factor in our season being a successful and fulfilling one. That is our collective aim as a company and would love you to be part of that success.

- A very practical nature, able to think logically about tasks and complete them.
- An enjoyment of hard physical work both in the outdoors and our warehouse.
- To be physically fit and strong.
- Bring a helpful and positive attitude and be a great team player.
- Take pride and care in your work and our precious equipment.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- A valid UK driving license (if you don’t have a driving license but have tipi crew experience please apply).
- You will also need to be flexible in your availability, to commit to unusual working hours and occasional overnight stays.
- Be able to get to and from our warehouse in Crudwell (between Malmesbury and Cirencester) for early starts and late finishes.
IT is desirable to have:
- Trailer towing experience.
- Previous experience in working for a tipi or marquee company.
- Be Over 25 and able to drive
