This is the ethos of our operation – to always be happy to help wherever we can, share our knowledge and event experiences, look for the small details that will make your event delivery seamless and care for our planet along the way.

How we work

WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND

 

We want to help you to create an experience that you are proud of, which will wow your guests. We know how important the smallest details are and we always keep in focus the delivery of your wonderful event.

NO “I” IN TEAM

 

We are a super friendly team, we work hard and like to have fun whilst doing so, which is why we think we work so well! We think it’s a bit infectious and do our best to ensure you have a great time working with us too. Our whole team chips with event delivery when needed, so we’re all familiar with every part of what we do.

EARTH FRIENDLY

 

At the heart of our operation is our aim to be and contribute to a greener way of working. We do this by supporting carefully selected carbon offsetting projects around the globe, as well as making sure our sites are left as we find them. We also try to support local suppliers wherever we can. Read more about our Sustainability policy here.

EXPERIENCE COUNTS

 

We pride ourselves on our wealth of experience in creating and running events and for our knowledge and professionalism. We have years of organising operations and logistics for major events as well as smaller ones and we’re very happy for you to tap into that to help with anything you need. Just ask!

A BIT OF EXTRA HELP

 

We’re always here by phone or email to support and help you while you plan your event – and trust us, it will all fall into place.  We can also help by creating custom floor plans within your own Floor Planner and help where needed in sourcing suppliers for extras like toilets, showers, heating, generators, fridge trailers… you name it. We’re also happy to talk directly with your other suppliers and provide site plans to help with their logistics.

Next steps

From being ready to book to your big day, what to expect over your booking timeline…

AS SOON AS YOU’RE READY

Arrange a chat to go discuss your event and go through your quote. If you’re happy you can let us know you want to go ahead and make the booking. You can do this by emailing, calling or just hitting “reserve for free” or “request to book” on the quote.

TO SECURE THE TIPI BOOKING

We will create the 30% deposit invoice, which will be on the same link as your quote, and you can just pay directly from there. 

 

Once the deposit is paid, the tipi on your date is yours.

WHEN CONVENIENT

We’ll arrange a site visit to meet you, see the venue and check the location, access, ground etc. Site visits are usually arranged on weekdays between October and March.

6 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR EVENT

We’ll send a reminder of what you’ve booked and give you the opportunity to book any optional extras.

 

We recommend that you confirm our power requirements with your generator supplier (if you are hiring in a generator) at this time too. 

3 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR EVENT

This is when we aim to tie up any loose ends, including any extras that you haven’t yet decided upon and finalise table numbers. 

 

We and the other suppliers we work with have a finite amount of equipment so while we aim to tie up any loose ends at this stage, we recommend that you do not wait to add in extras that you know you want/need. If there is anything you wish to add to your booking, you can email us at any time and we’ll update your booking there and then.

 

We also aim to confirm when our team will be building and taking down your tipis at this stage. Set up days are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with the aim to hand over to you by Friday afternoon at the latest, and we’ll return to take down on Monday or Tuesday unless otherwise agreed.

2 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR EVENT

Final invoice is due.

1-3 DAYS BEFORE YOUR EVENT

Tipi set up and checks – we make sure everything is right for you and “hand over”, including showing you how to use the lights and anything else you may need to know. 

 

You don’t need to be there for the whole day, most of our customers choose to meet us on site in the morning and then come back for the handover. Then you won’t see us again until we return for the take down.

YOUR EVENT

AFTER YOUR EVENT

Our team will return from 8am on the take down date. Please ensure that the tipis and bell tents have been cleared of any personal belongings or other supplier’s equipment before we arrive. If you have hired toilets for your event because there are no other facilities available, please ensure these aren’t removed until the end of the take down so our team have a loo to use!
