Giant Tipi site visits. What do we need to know and what does the client need to know. We check for vehicle access, ground conditions, overhead cables, underground services, direction of tipi openings, prevailing wind, back up plans and toilet access for the crew.

Working out the space needed for a giant Tipi is straight forward. Tipis are 10.3m across so we use 11m as our guide. We add in extra dimensions for a lifted entrance.
A single Tipi with a lifted entrance allow 11m X 12m
A Double Tipi with a lifted entrance allow 11m by 22m.Giant Tipis are 9 sided shapes but basically large circles. The easiest way to measure the space they need is to turn them into a rectangle! 9 sided, to a circle to a rectangle. Told you it was straight forward.
