17 May Gorgeous photography session at the Cotswold Tipis Spring Open Weekend
In late March, after our clients had gone home from our Spring Open Weekend, our team set to work to create a portfolio featuring local wedding suppliers and talented craftswomen. Setting trends is what these ladies do, so we are over the moon to be sharing with you the latest wedding trends for 2019 by some of the Cotswolds best wedding and events suppliers.
Wedding dress by local designer Ellie Lowe.
Our naked tipi is an optional extra for couples who want to make the most of being outside. This Giant Tipi is linked to fairy lights so the party can go on, and the stylist suspended rugs and pampas grass from driftwood to match the theme whilst creating texture.
Big thanks to the award-winning Lauradana Day of Wedding Creations UK. Working closely with florists and stationers, Lauradana curated the look for this Open Weekend. She introduced us to @loupaper_ who we are now in love with!
The family that own Chedworth Farm and Denfurlong Campsite have been living on this land for the past 5 generations. Amy, mum of two and soon-to-be bride, is the youngest of the family to have grown up on the farm and now works there with her fiancé and family. New to the world of private hire for weddings, events and corporate do’s, this established site is perfect for a couple wanting an easy and affordable DIY wedding.
The pre-existing facilities means you would have access to water, power and toilets, while the field is the ideal spot for the reception. The thing that makes this site really special is the abandoned railway cutting, a stunning valley with tangling woods set against a 40ft Cotswold stone embankment, tucked away just behind the reception area.
